This Privacy Policy explains how Unchain handles information when you use the Unchain iOS app.

1. Overview

Unchain helps you block selected apps and categories during Focus sessions or recurring schedules.

2. Information We Collect

Unchain collects limited product analytics through Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and to improve the product.

These analytics may include events such as app opens, onboarding progress, permission request results, app selection setup, Focus session activity, Schedule activity, Settings interactions, and Pro checkout or restore interactions.

Analytics may also include technical information such as app version, iOS version, device type, event timing, and analytics identifiers used by Firebase.

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Unchain does not process or store payment card information.

3. Permissions

Unchain asks for Screen Time access so it can apply blocking to the apps or categories you choose.

Unchain asks for notification permission so it can schedule local notifications related to Focus sessions and schedules.

You can revoke these permissions in iOS Settings.

4. Third-Party Services

Unchain uses Apple services for the App Store, iOS, Screen Time APIs, StoreKit, in-app purchases, and subscriptions.

Unchain uses Google Analytics for Firebase for product analytics.

5. Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices

Data stored on your device is removed when you delete the app, subject to normal iOS behavior.

Analytics data is retained according to the settings used in Google Analytics for Firebase.

You can revoke Screen Time and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
